SUNDAY 10th AUGUST 1PM-6PM @ 93 FEET EAST, BRICK LANE LONDON
A champion beatboxer, a TV legend, an African choir and your aunty’s old gladrags. It must be Jumblist Massive.
London’s most eclectic day out returns to Brick Lane in August.
On Sunday, August 10th, London’s coolest jumble sale is back. And it’s more eclectic than ever. Jumblist Massive III, combining the classic jumble sale with live music and DJs, takes place at 93 Feet East from 1-6pm.
The last Jumblist Massive in April saw hundreds of happy bargain hunters pick up cut-priced gems from last season to the last century. This time the organisers are taking the jumbling up a notch with a very special celebrity guest and their most exciting musical line-up to date.
The Office’s very own party DJ, Keith (aka Ewen MacIntosh) will be spinning his favourite tunes in the famed Ali G outfit, joined by The Petebox, one of the world’s finest human beatboxers, The London African Gospel Choir and top-notch DJs Rhys Adams (Yes King), Carl Faure (Black Grass) and Sapnarella (XFM).
Let’s not forget what it’s all about though – bagging a bargain. Up for grabs are vintage and brand new clothes, shoes, accessories, books, DVDs, CDs, all sorts of Brick Lane bric-a-brac, England football goodies from the FA and much, much more.
Jumble will be refreshed every hour, ensuring plenty of choice throughout. And the bar will be open all day too, but there’s no need to worry about blowing the budget in a moment of beer-fuelled jumble madness as most items are just £1. Coats and shoes come in at a fiver with celebrity jumble going to the highest bidder.
Entry is £2 and all door and jumble proceeds will go direct to building an all-weather sports pitch at a school in Uganda.
