Jumping Ships have quickly established themselves as one of the most interesting and original bands in the south. Having been together for less than a year the band have already caught the attention of the likes of NME, MOJO, BBC Introducing and BBC 's Tom Robinson.
Over the last eight months the band have toured the UK twice, played several high profile shows including the Official LeftField Glastonbury Warm Up and released their entirely self produced and recorded single 'Liberty Row' in late 2008.
Having solidly established themselves on the live circuit with performances for Club NME, LiveNation, Club Fandango and BBC Introducing shows, as well as alongside acts such as Bombay Bicycle Club, General Fiasco, This City and Elle Milano. The band are now looking to the future with their debut album 'Orientation' set to be released in early 2010. More imminent plans include the first release of a single from the album - due to happen in September supported by a full UK tour.

well here's an example of how much i love you guys: i only stayed behind after work (at the rockgoblin) to watch your set and told all my friends about you, and told them they had to watch your set, even after having 3 and a half hours sleep the night before the rockgoblin (due to work and setting up for the rockgoblin) and then working an 8 hour shift at the rockgoblin. if that's not love/dedication i dont know what is!? now i feel like a suck up - cheers! lol. and yeeeeesssss i will come up to Brighton at some point!! xo
