   About Junco Partner
Junco Partner is a Rhythm and Blues band from Asheville, NC comprised of Marsellus (Slow Foot) Fariss on Bottleneck Dobro, Chris (Bad Fingers) Kew on the upright bass and (Little) George Waterman on drums when appropriate for the venue. We play New Orleans, Chicago, and Delta Blues peppered with old school R&B.

We started the group on a lark one spring as a way to work in small, intimate venues in such a way that would keep ourselves and our audience entertained. Working musicians often play low key acoustic guy-in-the-corner kind of gigs but the idea of humming and strumming Jimmy Buffet songs in the corner of a tourist bar all night makes us wanna break things. Playing old R&B and Blues songs on Dobro and upright bass sounded like a helluva lot more fun. Unsure of the market for a Blues band in Appalachia, but encouraged by the success of our friends the Wood Brothers, we turned it loose on the unsuspecting city of Asheville to rave reviews. Recently we've started incorporating George Waterman into the fold on Drums for some of our shows so we can make a Rock n' Roll noise!

Our material is our own as well as hand picked dusty old scratchy tunes dug up from the bottom of LP collections. Robert Johnson, Ray Charles, Johnny "Guitar" Watson, Professor Longhair to drop a few names.

The duo show is simple and musical, low-key and funky. It's fits comfortably in any small venue. The trio shows start the same way and progress toward an rockin' electric Blues revival 'round midnight.

We've got some duo stuff up in the player, and we'll have some of the trio stuff with George on drums up in a while. We'll be starting work on a record soon as well.

You can contact us at juncopartners @ gmail dot com for booking.

HELLO FROM SWITZERLAND
WOW, YOUR MUSIC IS GREAT, I LIKE IT!!
I WROTE A SONG HOPE YOU LIKE IT, IT'S FOR YOU!
Every night I dream my dream

Researchers in white smocks, staring into the microscope
Men with blow at the hands, digging in the dark tunnel
I sit in front of my computer and nobody talks to me
every night, every night, I dream my dream
Every night, every night, I dream my dream

Warhol was great, Roy too
VanGogh cut from his ear
And I feel like paralyzed
every night, every night, I dream my dream
Every night, every night, I dream my dream

Louise, Karina, and all movie glamour girls
Paris, Texas, the story without a happy end
My film has no beginning and no end
every night, every night, I dream my dream
Every night, every night, I dream my dream

Some men shave the legs
Some women smoke cigarres
I like the silk and shiny stockings
every night, every night, I dream my dream
Every night, every night, I dream my dream

Lou doesn’t need a bassoon player
Eddie playes with the angels
Nora, Laura, Gino, Lea what an idea
every night, every night, I dream my dream
Every night, every night, I dream my dream

My wife said to me - smile, smile, please smile
the children play Monopoli
and I crawl into bed
every night, every night, I dream my dream
Every night, every night, I dream my dream

every night, every night, I dream my dream
Every night, every night, I dream my dream

Alone, alone, alone, alone…….
D.C. & Co.
