Listing influences for a band is a tricky thing; write that Elvis Costello was a strong influence in your decision to become a musician, and people tend to assume that you'll sound like him. That isn't what it means at all, of course. So, being a five-member band means we've got loads of influences between us, but that knowing what they are probably won't tell you much about how we sound, though it might tell you a bit about who we are.
On covers, we tend to rock them up (and occasionally to speed them up). We like an eclectic set list (Buck Owens to White Stripes) because doing the same damn thing over and over is just plain boring. We like to inject a little humor into our sets, but not so much as to become gimmicky. We play to have fun, and have the most fun when our audience is having fun too (which is most nights).
Our originals tend to sound a bit like Junction 299, only moreso.

Five guys having fun playing music loudly and with little or no thought to their personal safety.
Junction 299 is a 5-piece rock-and-roll band based in the Raleigh Metro/Triangle area of North Carolina. We play an eclectic mix of high-energy contemporary and vintage rock, with an emphasis on music that gets your blood moving. (Well, it gets our blood moving, anyway...) ;-)
