Welcome to the Official MySpace Page of The Junction City Spartans. We are a Minor League Football team that
will give players 18 years of age or older an opportunity to play a sport they love. The Spartans are also
looking forward to entertaining the local community and supporting local businesses with Player Appearances, Autograph Sessions, Fund Raisers, or any other event where the community may need help.
The Spartans, a second-year team for the 2009 season, look to continue their competitiveness in the North American Football League. Training camp is scheduled to begin in April with the season to start on May 2. Our primary goal is to be unique among our local peers by developing and sustaining a highly regarded, viable, organized and competitive minor league football program, where local adult athletes can be provided the rare opportunity to enjoy full contact football for as long as they choose. We intend to use adult amateur football to make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of our players, as well as the youth of our community. The Junction City Spartans are an organization that will instill the values of sportsmanship and teamwork into our players. We will expect nothing less then hard work, respect, and discipline as it will help
everyone that is involved, achieve a higher standard in life.
We are looking for players who can make this team better, looking to have fun playing a game they enjoy and have good character. We are a community-based organization that would like to provide a comfortable environment to all fans, and in return, show our appreciation by giving back to our community. The Spartans provide players of all levels an opportunity to fine-tune their skills and get the needed game film as they attempt to make it to the next level.
