Calvin "June" Johnson III aka JunesFlow was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan.
In 2000, after featuring on Eminem's "Slim Shady LP" (Shady/ Aftermath), friend and fellow MC, Royce Da' 5'9", signed with Tommy Boy Records and formed the rap-group "D-Elite". The group, consisting of JunesFlow (aka Jha Da' 5'9") and four other MC's, recorded "State Your Name" for Royce's "Rock City 2.0" LP (Sony/ Columbia). June also featured on the high-powered club-hit, "F*ck My Brainz Out" from Royce's "Independent's Day" LP in 2005 (Select-O-Hits/ M.I.C). After touring and numerous spot-dates, June is a seasoned MC and ready to make a name for himself as a solo rap-artist.
With a raw and natural style revealed, JunesFlow emerges from the underground with mass-appeal.
