Hello all cyber-space exploreres! This Profile is meant to promote the science-fiction writings of yours truly, LINDA AMBROSIA, such as my epic novel GULLIVER'S CHILDREN, now available from FIREDRAKES WEYR PUBLISHING: But this is also a fun place to hang out and learn about all aspects of science-fiction and fantasy. SPECIAL NOTE: My family had a great deal of financial difficulty since last year, so we were away from My Space for several months. We're back now and have made up our minds that we're going to turn our e-book into a best seller. As you can see, we've redone our profile to make it easier to read. And we're returning to the style we did in the past, having a special SERIAL SECTION in the center of the Profile that changes every week. Each Serial will contain an entertaining video that deals with science fiction. Sometimes these videos will be funny, at other times educational, dealing with the history of the sci-fi genre that has inspired so many of us. The inspiration for our novel GULLIVER'S CHILDREN was what some critics call the very first science fiction adventure, GULLIVER'S TRAVELS by the great Jonathan Swift. My book deals with many of the same themes Swift used, especially gigantism. The plot deals with the the problems of a young alien couple on another planet. To give you some idea of what we mean, consider this: What would you do if you're an average size woman and you have a boyfriend who is twenty-two feet tall? That's a delima that our space age heroine has to face in the most unique science-romance of the decade.
