I live my life in the red. No headroom for the wikkid. I'm mainly all about music. I work a lot and that sucks. But I try to make sure that I also play a lot and that rules. I am also a slacker. If you send me a message there is a very good chance that I will take over a month to get back to you. But I swear that it's not 'cause I don't care.
Music
Everything that is jungle music. It courses through my veins at 180bpm. JUST GIVE ME A MOTHERFUCKIN BREAKBEAT!!! I've played all kinds of d'n'b ranging from hip-step to liquid, and right now I'm experimenting alot with dark d'n'b, ragga and breakcore. If you were to look in my record bag right now you would mos def find all of the Hardline plates, Evol Intent, DJ Hidden, Paul Blackout, Dylan, Arkon, Kid Kryptic, Enduser, G-I-S, Spor, Twinhooker, Paulie Walnuts, Tester, General Malice, R.A.W., Headhunterz Inc. (y'all don't know about them yet, but you will!!) Infiltrata, Counterstrike, Mumblz, Catacomb, Donnie and a buncha others that I can't think of right now. Not to mention that I have a tendency to drop some dancehall, so I've got a bunch of riddims in 'der. Oh and this one Dead Kennedys record that I always keep in the back of my bag.....just incase. Recently I have found a new love in Dubstep. The grimey shit gets me like nothing else can. Stuff like Vex'd, Skream, Loefah, Distance, Hatcha, Benga...and pretty much all of the dnb-turned-dubstep producers. ;-) Maybe if I can afford the habit then I will start spinning it on the side. We'll see. I'm also all over some industrial, metal and grunge, and since i think music really started to go downhill around the mid to late 90's, i'm kinda stuck in the era right before that. If you were to look through my CD's you'd find Ministry, Alice In Chins, Skinny Puppy, NIN, The Revolting Cocks, Marilyn Manson, White Zombie, Tool, Faith No More, Pantera, Anthrax, Metallica, Fear Factory, LARD (my new fave CD), System of a Down, Korn, Front 242, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, KMFDM, Motorhead, Nirvana, Janes Addiction, Switchblade Symphony, Stone Temple Piolets, Pearl Jam......and theres a ton more, but none of you really care that much. I'm also really starting to get into trip-hop. Stuff like Massive Attack, DJ Krush, Morcheeba, ect. And underground hip-hop like Cannible Ox, Aesop Rock, Mr. Lif, El-P, Company Flow and others. But you know right now I'm listening to a breaks CD, so really, I'll just end this on the thought that I get down to almost everything.
Movies
NATURAL BORN KILLERS IS THE GREATEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME. i am mildley obsessed with everything about it, because i like my movies to be dark and thought provoking. other titles in my top picks include true romance, both of the kill bill movies, seven, saw 1 & 2, terminator 2, any and everything by tim burton or quentin tarrentino, airheads, happy gilmore, the lord of the rings trilogy, pulp fiction, resevoir dogs, spirited away, fight club, beetlejuice, ect. i also really love stupid movies from the nineties like bill and ted's excellent adventure and waynes world.
Television
I pretty much only watch adult swim on the regular, although thier new programming is pretty suckass. I'm also severley loyal to The Simpsons. Other than that it's usually movies or documentaries about space on the science channel.
Books
I have been reading stephen king books since i was in 6th grade. My favorite is "It", but for the most part I like them all. I was also a big fan of Dean Koontz while I was in high school, but haven't read one of his books in years. I went a long time without really reading much, but happily I am getting out of that habit. Lately I have been looking for something new to get into, so if you have any suggestions feel free to send them my way!
About me:
hi. i'm jessi. i like loud music, driving fast, good beer and engaging conversation. i have lots of energy to burn and i will talk your ear off if you give me half a chance. strangely enough though i am also an internet slacker, who has a terrible time responding to messages in a timely fashion. please don't hate me for that. i wish upon a star whenever possible and i smile more then my fair share. i had way to much fun when i was younger. these days i am winding down a bit and focusing more on work, family and school. but that doesn't mean that i don't still play hard when given the chance.
i like most everything in my life to be dark, which is slightly ironic since i am generally sunny person. i hate cheesy shit, bright colors and loud patterns. probably because my personality is cheesy, bright and loud enough....there really is no need to add any more.
i got married in october of 2007 to this really rad dude named james. he is a dj/ producer/ musician/ electronics genius. so far everything has been pretty groovy. our master plan is to start an industrial band called oscilator. but first i have to get good on the bass.
i have been a drum and bass dj since 2002. it's the jam. sometimes i screw around with other genres like breaks. lately i have been experimenting with trip-hop and downtempo. hit me up for mixes or if you just want to talk shop. ;-)
Who I'd like to meet:
I want to meet people that rock. I also want to meet people that I can network with. I DO NOT WANT TO MEET YOU IF YOU ARE SOME DUDE WITH 5000 FRIENDS THAT ARE ALL FEMALE. And if you're gonna add me as a friend then can we like....be friends?? Send me a message. Show me you care.
This is a flyer for a party I'm throwing on Dec 11th. We do the event weekly but this is going to be our last HUGE event of the year. Let me know if you're interested in making it out. We're going to have live art, a glowstick drop at midnight, and obviously some super sick beats.
Sadly, Kill The Noise wasn't able to play at Fall Massive this past weekend but he's headlining this lineup.
Something to note... this is 18+ and there is NO DRESSCODE.

Description: Synchronicities are people, places or events that your soul attracts into your life to help you evolve to higher consciousness or to place emphasis on something going on in your life. The more 'consciously aware' you become of how your soul manifests, the higher your frequency becomes and the faster you manifest positively.
