The Juniper Ridge Band brings you fine bluegrass, old tyme, and country music from the mountains of the Cascade-Siskiyou region on Southern Oregon. From deep roots come strong original sounds created by Ray Miatke on guitar and vocals, David Melendez on mandolin and powerful harmonies, Brandon Lerda on upright bass and vocals, and Mark Lackey on dobro and vocals. Juniper Ridge has been performing together since 2004 bringing sweet sounds to shows and events around the Northwest.
The best part of the Scott Valley Festival last summer was the music played off stage by Juniper Ridge. It was haunting, magical, authentic. They were "in the zone" and it was almost too good to be true. I hope to see the group perform again soon.
