Too country for the rockers, too rockin' for the cowboys!
Junk Ditch Road is a roots-based, rock/folk group out of Phoenix, Arizona. After forming as an acoustic duo in 2002, JDR has evolved through several lineup changes, with the core of TJ Casey (lead guitar, vocals), Terry Kottom (banjo, vocals), Cody Roe (guitar, vocals) and Scott Gunshore (drums) intact since '03. The current lineup includes Rich Maston (keys, dobro, vocals) and Ryan Roe (bass). With influences ranging from The Band to Warren Zevon to Old Crow Medicine Show, you'll find lots to like at their live shows, from tight 3-part harmonies to rocked-out jam classics to good ol' banjo breakdowns. JDR has released two albums of original compositions: Junk Ditch Road in 2003 and Climbing Trees in 2006. Both albums reflect not only the diverse influences, but also the common threads running through the band. Junk Ditch Road is 6 guys from the Midwest and East Coast who found some magic in the great Southwest, and plan to keep sharing that magic, live and on record, for many years to come.

Someone please get in touch with me. Cody, I live walking distance to you now. wastintimejp@gmail.com . I lost everyones email addy's.
Make sure to let us know when you shift from changing diapers to jammin and come out to play. We are close to being parents but we will tow the kid with for some good tunes.
I paid my ten bucks. I got the JDR CD and to be honest.... you are not charging enough money! That CD never left our car for the remainder of our trip. I think we listened to it six or seven times in a row. Get Up Jake (always my fan favorite) was recorded flawlessly. Telluride is a wonderful audio snapshot of how fun Blues and Brews can be. Crooked Roads shows off Terry's unique vocal talents that come accross great on and off stage...
....but the icing on the cake has to be "It's Just You".... FUCK YOU TJ for making me cry in front of my woman! What a beautiful ballad. I can't think of a song that has touched me or my fiance like that. I said to her after our third or fourth listen that this will be the song we play for our first dance at the wedding.
Rainy Day ties cause I have had the demo on my jukebox for years and it's great to hear it all cleaned up..
Now, if you can quit your dayjobs and pack up the women and children and go full time... a man can wish..
Thanks for making my first CD purchase since 2005 the RIGHT one.
