Junkie & the Spider,
founded in early 2007,
is a creative mergence of three well established
local
bands to form a group with a
ravenous appetite for writing and preforming music.
They moved quickly and in thier first 10 months wrote and recorded
a five song EP, played Ottawa's best venues and made many
new friends and contacts in the music industry.
J&S has since evolved into a culmination
with this one collective purpose;
to bring to the world, unique
blends of passionate and euphoric
Alt/Rock fused with heavy grooves topped off with layers of
emotion filled vocal stylings.
Described as an exciting
marriage of funk and metal
guitars, entwined with groovin'
drum and bass paraphenalia
J&S has tailor made this music
to showcase thier strengths.
