Junk Sick Fuck Fest (JSFF) uses computers, samples, and live instruments to create electronic-industrial agony with danceable beats, politically-charged messages, brooding atmosphere, and synthetic grooves. 99.5% artificial and angry as hell.
JSFF is an experiment to see what sorts of music we could create, given our extremely limited resources. We produce our music (almost) entirely on a computer using instrument samples, media samples, a modeling synthesizer, drum machine, and other tricks. We gravitate towards dark, electronic sounds and pounding drums. Influences include Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Front 242, Die Warzau, Cubanate, Nine Inch Nails, and many other industrial, techno, EBM, and coldwave artists. Sohei produces/programs and composes the music, while gish writes and sings the vocals. They hope never to perform live.
We hope you'll enjoy our songs. Or maybe we don't care. You decide. We don't have much to work with, other than a computer, sample library, some busted up instruments, and a lot of good, pure, liberal anger. We appreciate any tips, hate mail, feedback, or heartfelt anguish (particularly the anguish).

JSFF is what we're calling Open Source Music (OSM). All our songs our free to download - we don't want your record deals (so shove it, Capital! :) and we don't want to sell you any CDs. Download, share, thrash out, and revolt. In an ideal world where our music production standards were half-way decent and made sense to anyone but Sohei, OSM would also include posting the raw tracks for remixing (but if you have Tu2 and want to remix any of our tracks, let us know and we'll work something out).
Song Info:
- Two Minutes Hate [Goldstein Mix] - This song is about the demonization of liberals and progressives by the right wing noise machine. It is a reference to the novel 1984 in which the oppressed populace is urged to displace their anger and fear onto a semi-mythical caricature named Goldstein. This mix has no vox.
- Drowning [Suffocated Mix] - This is a song about how corrupt and bankrupt "small government" conservatism, racism, and classism drowned the city of New Orleans. It represents the horror of misguided ideology realized.
- Drowning [FEMA Mix] - This is a dance/club mix version of Drowning, which has more of trance feel to it. It also features some vox by gish.
- Terror [Godless Mix] - Every era has a bogeyman that the government uses to stifle dissent and enact its will over the people - this is a song about the bogeyman of our age. It features vox by gish. This is an updated mix of the original song, and it's light years better in our opinion.
