About me:

My name is Julius Mauranen, I produce, record and mix music for a living. Not my own music, that is. Other people's music. I absolutely love my job and though the pay is sometimes shite and the days are long, I still wouldn't change it for anything. I get a huge kick for working on great music with great and talented people and getting respect from them. It's a fantastic job. I run my own studio, Studio Kekkonen, in Helsinki, Finland.

Apart from that, I like quiet life, spending a lot of time at home with my girlfriend and little daughter. I love music (surprise surprise), watching movies and great British comedy series, reading books, wasting time on Internet forums, messing with Apple things, building little electronics projects (like guitar pedals, though I rarely have the time), cooking (though I never have the time) and so forth. I also enjoy the occasional pint of lager (or eight) in good company. I also love spending time in the countryside.
