There are just too many to mention and so many different genres, but some main inspirations would be:
Dave Matthews Band, John Butler Trio, Xavier Rudd, Days of the New, Travis "Maestro" Meeks, Tim Reynolds, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Hendrix, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, INXS, Alice in Chains, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, John Mayer, Amos Lee, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Rodriguez, The Doors, TOOL, Si*Se', Morcheeba, Tracy Chapman, and so so many
more awesome bands and artists that we are so lucky to have around today!!
About the Tunes:
About the Tunes:
West Coast Dub: is our latest bit of dubby joy, a Squeezer Project / NSU collab, with lots of cool instruments going on...featuring myself on vocals, didgeridoo, acoustic and lapsteel guitar.
Just Juice: has been mixed and produced by Karl, and is a definite mixture of 2 completely different genre's moulded into one pretty fun track - call it Acoustic Dance if you like, call it whatever you want! Hope it makes your foot tap like it does for me.
Man in Demand is a demo recording and my first ever original written song, studio version coming next...
Disarray is also a demo recording, I love playing this song ....
Spoonfed is my latest song....
In low times we turn to music, at high times we groove on it.....
Listen to the music, that's what it's here for....
Peace & Love, to ye'all.....more soon....
PHOTOGRAPHY - take a look at my album pics - something I am starting to really enjoy and get into more, more to come soon.....
Whatever you do - save yourself the hassle (and bandwidth) - don't download the new nsu EP's. They are really sub-par. The guy has only disrespect for music lovers by releasing uninspiring and unimaginative shit like that.
Thanks bro... The genre walkabouts aren't by intention - it just comes out like that, nad believe me, the day I make two tunes that sound the same... I'm outta here.
Hey bro, nice one, Karl and I agreed on the week after the long weekend, said you guys would let me know which days you're free on, and I'd pick the most suitable one...
good to have you back, I trust Indonesia was something to see, experience and savour...
Hey bud... I'm looking forward to meting up and banging our heads together to knock off WCD. I told Karl earlier on I had some ideas about structure, etc... probably a matter of finding a time for all three of us...
How are you? I just wanted to stop by and say hello, I figure I should do that from time to time lol :) I really hope that all is well with you my friend! I'm sending wishes for you to have a wonderful and blessed Christmas and I hope the New Year brings you an abundance of beautiful memories and good health ;)
