.. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..........ABOUT ME............So in August 2006, I moved from London to LA. I'm here to study at Fuller Theological Seminary for what will be around three years. After that, who knows? I may be a pastor; I may not. I may stay in the States; I may not. It's part of the excitement of letting God direct my steps.....Anyhow, in case you couldn't see, I'm Chinese. But culturally, I'm a mutt. Culturally, I reckon my breakdown is:........1/4.... Chinese (grew up in Hong Kong, Chinese family, Chinese friends)......5/12.... American (American citizen, resident of California; fanatic baseball follower--go Mariners!; owner of a now-more-pronounced American accent)......1/3.... British (lived there for eight years: two years in Surrey, three years in central London and three more in the suburbs; c'mon Arsenal!)............THINGS I WANT TO DO WHEN I'M IN CALIFORNIA..........In no order other than the way they come to me ......... ....Learn to surf..... Musicians who know how to surf are cool; for example, Jack Johnson.....(March 2008 update: still only been surfing once ...).... .. ....Learn Spanish..... LA is, I think, just over 40% Hispanic or Latino. And hey, I already know how to speak English - regardless of what my British friends say about me speaking Yankee.....(March 2008 update: still no progress.).... .. ....Find somewhere to play soccer..... I'll bring some footballing heritage from the homeland. Or something.....(March 2008 update: still playing regularly, though not enough for my liking).... .. ....Find somewhere to play baseball..... I've only been playing since February, but I love it! (And I need to get better).....(March 2008 update: softball season's coming up!).... .. ....Go to the beach often..... I've never lived so close to the beach before, so I'm gonna try and make the most of this opportunity while it's there. Maybe go a little dark-honey in the process.....(March 2008 update: my London tan has returned in the last six months since I last went to the beach)...... .. .. ..MyGen.. ..Profile Generator.. .. -

Hey its been ages! Sorry I haven't kept in touch, I haven't been on myspace in ages. I heard your song "Touch the Sky" when my music was on random the other day. Thought I'd say hi and I like your new songs too. Hope California is still treating you well. Cheers!

..Learn to surf. Musicians who know how to surf are cool; for example, Jack Johnson.
(March 2008 update: still only been surfing once ...)Learn Spanish. LA is, I think, just over 40% Hispanic or Latino. And hey, I already know how to speak English - regardless of what my British friends say about me speaking Yankee.
(March 2008 update: still no progress.)Find somewhere to play soccer. I'll bring some footballing heritage from the homeland. Or something.
(March 2008 update: still playing regularly, though not enough for my liking)Find somewhere to play baseball. I've only been playing since February, but I love it! (And I need to get better).
(March 2008 update: softball season's coming up!)Go to the beach often. I've never lived so close to the beach before, so I'm gonna try and make the most of this opportunity while it's there. Maybe go a little dark-honey in the process.
(March 2008 update: my London tan has returned in the last six months since I last went to the beach)
