"Jusqu'à Grand-père"is the instrumental duo organized by guitarist HIROAKI TAKAI and violinist MAKOTO HIROSE.
It's name means in French that "Until they become old".There is charged with their mind that they want to continue their music activity until they become gray hair.
Since 1999. from the beginning of their activity, 'Jusqu'à sound,in which contains various elements such as Gypsy-Jazz,Paris-musette,Latin,Tango and Classics,creates original world-view,getting over the genre of music.
Their catchable melodies,somehow,we cannot help hamming.
The exquisite ensembre,made with 10 strings(violin4+guitar6),plays some times beautifully and another time passionately,and invites us to the space of healing.
In 2006 they accomplished the collaboration with "Clémentine"French singer,music-offer to her album.
And also in this year Jusqu'à plays the opening act for the live of GONTITI
In July of 2007,long-waited new album of Jusqu'à was released from HATS UNLIMITED,of which director is Taro Hakase.
