  • Music

    Casting Crowns is probably my favorite. Mandisa is a very close second. I have learned to love Toby Mac (thank you Trina!). Recently, I have rekindled a dormant love of classical compossers such as Vivaldi and Debussy. Tchaikovsky was my first introduction and remains a favorite to this day. I love music. It speaks to me on so many levels and draws out emotions that I usually try to hide.

  • Television

    I don't watch a lot of television. My son loves cartoons and usually takes over the remote. I don't mind - there isn't that much that I would really want to watch. However, I will occasionally stage a coup to overtake the livingroom for a showing of Tin Man.

  • Books

    Reading is one of my great passions. I love to read the Bible and have read all of it between 1Jan09 and 31Jan09. The Witch of Blackbird Pond will be in my hands again by tonight. Currently, I am also reading Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer. I just finished the Twilight saga and was very pleasantly surprised. I can absolutely become lost in an interesting work of fiction. Jane Eyre and the Chronicles of Narnia have been beckoning to me from the shelf lately. Everyone tells me that The Shack is wonderful, but I just can't seem to get into it just now. Maybe soon it will have it's day in the sun, so to speak.

Next I am called Muma. My son is the center of my world and usually spinning like a whirl wind. He keeps me busy. Then I am called friend.
