I have very broad tastes in music with the exception of country and western, and disco which I detest immensely. Antony and the Johnsons as well as Radiohead are currently on high rotation on my iPod.

Cannabis Lobbyist, Dr Andrew Katelaris, and Sydney Medical Cannabis Patient, Justin Brash, interviewed for Australian TV about an announced medical cannabis trial in New South Wales and subsequent survey of patients habits. Interview originally broadcast in 2003. The result of this survey showed that 25% of HIV+ Australians smoke cannabis medicinally - this equates to over 4,000 patients
Television
I love dysfunctional TV families such as the Simpsons and Family Guy. Comedies feature heavily on my viewing schedule - recent favourites: 'Extras' (Ricky Gervais); Arrested Developement; My other great televisual love is British murder mysteries - it has always amazed me why sleepy English villages have such a high violent crime rate.

Heroes
My political heroes are Gough Whitlam - former Prime Minister, statesman, Australian folk hero and social revolutionary; Bob Brown - Senator, Leader of the Australian Greens. Paul O'Grady - former member of NSW's upper house and the one who got the ball rolling by convincing other politicians of the importance of the medical uses of cannabis.

Who I'd like to meet: Really just here to network with other supporters of medical cannabis or anyone else who could be bothered saying hello for that matter. At this stage of my illness, smoking Cannabis is not an appropriate form of treatment and so I am currently "canna-free" - I do however still strongly believe in the medicinal power of Cannabis and will continue to support others who feel the need to use it as part of their treatment.
