Heroes
Those who test, please and anger us, those who inspire us and those who let us down. Heroes remind us of who we were, who we are, where we have been and where we now stand.
"Coming across as something between cabaret, sketch show comedy, improvisation, dance and story-telling, the fears and issues which dominate the lives of many performers (and dramatic types) are explored by this likeable ensemble. Fusing so many elements into one hour... they skilfully skip through the various genres they encompass... the actors are clearly versatile... intriguing as it is confusing, and those looking for something slightly off the beaten track would benefit from giving it a chance"

Review for company’s Edinburgh Fringe debut production:
“Churning up the soul with a pulsating beat, examining the daily pointless slog of our existence, slowing down movement to robotic jerks; we see how machine-like we have become. Distance between people is shown through a desperate inability to make contact. Aspects of our lives are ripped apart in glorious satire; we see our world as a constant battle between people or against society. Each performer demonstrates their point with remarkable strength and agility.”

If you want to see the Fringe encapsulated in one show: this is it. A talented bunch of young actors give us a fast changing montage of inventive physical movement, monologues, sketches, dance and stand-up. The single mother hooked on MySpace, the desperate and acrobatic Fringe flyers, the man bombarded with ad messages and the deeply moving unhappy clown are among a cavalcade of rich characters. This is all delivered with skill, honesty and passion; never taking itself too seriously for long. A mix often attempted but rarely pulled off as it is here. A gem of an afternoon show - don't miss it.
Well done you lot!!!
Hope your all having a great time me an Jon are coming to see you all next tue and wed!!! See you all then!
