About me: I'm Just A Jim-Nothing More & Nothing Less.During the day,I work for The Board Of Education in Bridgeport and have been for over 21 years.At night and weekends,you might see me acting like a complete fool performing in my bands Megahertz(MHZRock.com) or Diminishing Jim(DiminishingJim.com).I'm really good friends with Ronnie James Dio and have been since 1990.Evidence of this is in his 1998 live release,Dio's Inferno-Last In Live.The front cover photo was taken by me,as well as 3 other pics in the CD itself.Check it out in my "Dio" section of my pics.Also,I'm all over the 2003 Dio DVD,"Evil Or Devine".Just look for the fat guy in the front row holding the black & red Dio license plate.I call myself the "fat guy" because on 1/24/03,at just under 500 lbs,I had the gastric bypass surgery.I'm now just about half that weight and I'm thankful for the new opportunities that life has to offer a person that's not "morbidly obese" anymore.Feel free to check out my "before,during & after" surgery pics-they're all with Ronnie James Dio in the "Dio Stuff" section for added "kewlness". This Time Down is seeking a new guitarist to round out it's lineup. If you are reading this Ad and you are a guitarist and you'd like to talk to the band about playing with us please make sure that you have a site up either on MySpace or elsewhere so that we can not only see pics of you but can hear exactly what you can do on your instrument. If you do not have a website, we would request that you send both pics of yourself either in a live situation or in a band photo and soundbites of music you've recorded. We are looking for someone in their mid-twenties to mid-thirties that is hungry, can play his ass off, can groove, has a great look, can write catchy riffs, can sing backups strongly, can solo if need be, has a great/positive/can-do/team player attitude, has reliable transportation, has a job, has pro gear, lives close to New Haven or doesn't mind driving a little to get there to practice one to two times per week and is as good live as he is in the studio. So if you feel like you've got what it takes drop us a line and we'll go from there. No egos, no substance abuse problems, no alcohol problems. We're not looking to waste our time any more and want the right player with the right attitude to become an integral member of this band. Think you can handle it?
