Geographically caught between the melodic emo capital of Gainesville, Florida, and the hardcore beatdown spots of the East Coast cities to the north, JUST DIE captures these two sounds in an impressive blend that really works. The band is tight, with killer guitar licks and great drumming, and the singer has an especially conspicuous, raspy voice that carries them one step above the pack of current hardcore sounds.
