With the versatility to fluently sing in 3 different languages, her love for music has translated into inspiration to take her vocal skills to a professional level! Apart from working on her upcoming album, Just Gita will be releasing two singles on a national level in June. For her upcoming releases Gita collaborated with N Raina and Dorje. N Raina has produced her track ‘Dance as you please’ and he is an incredible producer who you will definitely be hearing more of in coming weeks! She got the opportunity to have renown reggae artist Peter Rankin feature on that track. Dorje is also a Toronto based producer and has beautifully put together Just Gitas’ upcoming track ‘Guitar Dreams’. The tracks will be available for download and your listening pleasure by early June! She has also worked with a variety of International and Local Artists. Gita collaborated with RDB on their album RDB Three. She wrote and composed a track on which MC JD was featured and has recently collaborated with Nawtiks, a Toronto based group, on their upcoming album ‘Nawtiks - Greatest Hits : The debut album.’ Additionally, Gita has also taken part in various shows within Toronto. She performed at the first annual South Asian Arts & Entertainment Show and was also chosen to represent it and was featured on OMNI TV’s Ishtyle TV. Gita performed alongside RDB at Masala! Mehndi! Masti! She was also selected to perform as a part of the festivals Artists’ Café showcase. This year Gita will be performing at the desiFEST on Saturday May 31st at 2:30 p.m. and has also been featured as a cover story in the May issue of DesiYouth Mag! After a brief hiatus Just Gita is back and bringing it strong!
