My interests are wide and varied. I love reading. I read across many genres and age levels. I also love playing in the dirt, otherwise known as gardening and landscaping. My family and friends say I have two green thumbs. History intrigues me but also frightens me. When we view it as a continuum, it's amazing how much we keep failing to learn. Communities also intrigue me, as I've lived in several different types, across the U.S. and abroad.
Music
I like a little bit of everything. I do tend to lean toward rock and alternative, but I also enjoy folk, world and some jazz and blues. And I like classical but have a limited tolerance for piano heavy selections.
Movies
Long Kiss Goodnight, Underworld, Mummy, Bourne (all of them), Mr. and Mrs. Smith....um seeing a trend of violence here. But I also enjoy sci-fi/fantasy and comic book hero movies. I even enjoy a comedy know and then.

So....I've been rereading the classics. I've made my way into authors in the C's. Now I remember why you should do the classics in small doses. If you read too many classics too close together, a cloud of mania and depression may descend upon you, scour your soul and leave you shivering in a corner

Don't misunderstand me. The literary genius of the writers of most classics is undeniable. I'm referring to the intensity of emotion and psychosis that inhabits so many of the classics.

I think my only real complaint or negative expression about any other person is when they waste my time or try to abuse me. I'm just not having it......
I am independent and opinionated. So if I know my facts and feel strongly about them....watch out. I'm pretty fierce.

Hey How have you been? Wow its been such a long time since I last talked to you. I can't believe how time flys. How the family doing? So I didn't go to college. I'm headed into a different direction in life. Still planning on college but more for the medical field now. I work with the mentally retarded. I go to a home that houses two gentlemen and I take care of them. Its the most amazing job ever. I love it! So eventually the company will certify me with CRMA and I will go from there!
Just FYI I'm holding the x-mas tree hostage so there will be no thanksgiving evening tree erection (hehe). One false move and it gets the axe. We will have to lumber on without it. Or wood you meet my list of Ransom demands? Or pine over what could have been? Yule be sorry don't you noel.
