JFA's aim is bringing awareness to the general public about a worrying and disasterous trend in modern recorded music, commonly dubbed “The Loudness Wars”. This is where music is being excessively compressed or “squashed” in terms of loudness so that a song is as loud as possible the entire way through. Loud sounds good but what happens is the "dynamic range" or the loud and the quiet sections become equally loud. It robs the song of the emotion and feeling the artist intended when they recorded it.
JFA is dedicated to educating the general public in the hope that the recording industry will take note and STOP destroying great music.
Who I'd like to meet: AWESOME BBC4 interview with fans and Ian Sheppard. Watch BOTH parts!
Thanks Matt for a GREAT video!

I drop you a line to tell you that some copies of my first album, "The Field Where She Died", are still available but stocks won't last - only 150 copies left
Hello there! Many thanks for highlighting the problem that is the Loudness War! I hope that the music groups that are advertising on your page comments are releasing music with a full dynamic range!! Many thanks, Rudolf
Hey Justice For Audio , what's up! Thanks for your friendship and support. It really means a lot to us! Our new album "The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit A" is out and should be in stores, at least that's what our record company told us. ha,ha. If you can't find it at your local stores, please ask them to order it. You can listen to some of the songs from the new album on our MySpace page. We hope you check it out! Buy it, download it, steal it ... just tell all your friends, send out a bulletin or a message to them and help us spread the word about our new album around the world. Hope to see you on tour.
I thought it would be fantastic if you joined my mailing list to be informed of the first album release, and more... It would be great to have you in Spleen Arcana's world! It's free and it's just here: http://www. reverbnation. com/spleenarcana?add_email=true
You can even join the street team if you want to support and spread Spleen Arcana's music. Thank you so much
