My musical tastebuds expand across all styles and form of music as long as its got creativity behind it. At the moment i am immensely enamored by artists that are pushing the envelope of sonic soundscapes and are creating music that is original and unique. Here is a brief list of such artists in no particular order.
MUTE MATH, Bassnectar, The Glitch MOb(edIT, Ooah, Boreta, Kraddy), Anything on Hospital Records(LE, High Contrast, Logistics, etc) Zeph and Azeem, Ohemga Watts and the Lightheaded Crew, Bonobo, Sia, Chuck Love, The Sound Republic, Joey Youngman, Joshua Heath, Brett Johnson, Jay West, Deadmau5, White Lotus Society(Hands down the next big thing to come out of Dallas), Mastiksoul, Ooah, Jay Wikid, Jansten, Ochre(Check him out on myspace, "REM Research" will change your life), Nostalgia 77, Sound Tribe Sector 9, EOTO, Zilla, Sporque, VibeSquade, Ray Lamontagne, Mike Relm, Sayr, Ben Watt, People Under the Stairs, Crown City Rockers, Chris Broke It(Another one on the come up from Dallas). I'll stop here. There is an endless list of music that has impacted me in various points in my life. There is really no form of music that i dont like, so dont feel like the above list are the only styles of music that move me.

Grandma's Boy(funniest movie ever), Any of Christopher Guest's movies, The Goonies, Flight of the Navigater, Jerry Maguire, Fight Club, The Big Lebowski, Caddy Shack, Office Space, Dazed and Confused, Rudy, Basketball Diaries, Field of Dreams, Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind, Garden State, Good Will Hunting. You know, the list could go on and on.
Television
Jeff Corwin, Comedy Central, Discovery/History channel. I try not to get sucked into any one particular show so i dont turn into a zombie
Books
About to finish Khaled Hosseini's "A Thousand Splendid Suns" and must say that it is just as awesome as "The Kite Runner." Not an avid reader, but when i find a great book, i wonder why im not because it is such a great escape from the chaotic world we live it!!
well i just got a job today, yay! we'll be going out tonight @ least to one spot for chris to promote the john lewis band playing at house of blues...not sure where all we're gonna go, i don't know what his game plan for tonight is yet, he's still at work...
