Growing up in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Justin Chambers always possessed an ear for good "home grown" country music. His musical journey, like many others began in church where he sang in the choir every Sunday. After several years of writing country music and playing for anyone that wanted to listen, he quickly became a favorite at parties and "get togethers" in his hometown of Toccoa, Ga. He then decided to go to an open mic in March of 2009 on the square in Marietta, Ga just to see how it went. There was an instant connection with the crowd and he knew that was where he wanted to be. It was there that he was introduced to Robin Ball of Red Current Studios in Nashville. "She has been a huge inspiration to me. One of the most kind, sincere people you are ever likely to meet" says Chambers about Ball, who introduced him to the open mic scene in Nashville, which he says "fueled his fire". From this connection with Ball and the wonderful world of Myspace, Justin's talent became known to Dark Horse Promotions. He was invited to be a part of their Summer Reunion Tour event in Nashville and was a hit with the audience and other members of the Dark Horse family. "I was greatly impressed with Justin's ability to connect with his audience. He is a quality performer with a very bright future. Someone we are proud to have involved with our program." said Steve Miller, founder and director of Dark Horse Promotions. Brand new to the music scene Justin is already known for his easy to relate to, understandable writing style that constantly reminds you of love, family, and growing up in a small town.
