Justin Cournoyer was born in the late 70's in a small town in the southern area of South Dakota.At an earley age he had an ear for traditional native music."I think it was the drum beat."Something about it really moved me and I could feel it in my blood like a heart beat."The power the drum had to the colorful dancers was one of the deepest things inside me I ever seen and felt."Grown up in a reservation until the age of 5 then moving to a little town in the mid-Dakotas called Chamberlain."A lot of my music is mostly inspired of my childhood growth and of spiritual experiences in my life.Mostly maturing and developing and some to do with feeling.It's all about the different colors and moods this place puts me in."My journey with this stuff just begun and I have a long way to go."
