Hailing from San Leandro, CA, Justine Perez began recording songs for her high school multi-media class at the age of fifteen. Justine's heart-felt songs quickly drew the attention of her classmates and earned her the title "most likely to be famous" in the 2009 San Leandro High School yearbook. What began as a school project, has swiftly blossomed into the beginning stages of a promising recording career. Justine's first publicly released single, "Take It Slow", blends her trademark warm vocal delivery, over an up tempo dance/pop track, produced by San Jose, CA, songwriter Justin (JAE Rilla) Engelhaupt. "Take It Slow", has already received radio airplay on several local stations, and continues to spread it's infectious melody throughout the clubs and airwaves.
