A good song moves you. Tells a story. Belies a truth. Leaves you vulnerable. And makes you dance.
Justin Enco took these qualities – plus good beats, guitar mixes both electric and acoustic, poetic percussions and personal and engaging stories – to create Long Drive Home. The ten track offering illustrates the changes and growth you experience when you make creative evolution your life’s goal.
Sometimes you know what you want, but you’re not sure if you should pursue it. That question got answered for Enco after a particularly serendipitous open-mic night. The overwhelmingly positive response set him on his current course of becoming a professional musician. Now, more than 1,300 shows later, the native Canadian plays for packed houses all around South Florida. He writes songs about life, love, loss, the drinking that goes along with each, making your own way in the world, and, of course, the power of friendship and family.
“Songwriting is very therapeutic,” says Enco “and throughout the years, it has always been a constant I can turn to, through life’s shifting sands.” After stints in "Break The Silence", and WPBF's Best Band of Palm Beach 2007, "Ghosts of Vegas", Enco has formed a band to support his original project-The Justin Enco Band. Trucking through what life throws at you is just part of the game. It’s finding the amazing people, remembering the perfect moments, having a good time, dancing to and singing a good song. That’s what you need to stay happy on the Long Drive Home.
A big thanks to all the good people, friends & supporters of my music project; who inspire me to write, play, and perform. I am extremely grateful to each and every one of you.
