About me:
I'm a Washington girl by birth, Midwesterner by reputation for the past year, now. My biggest accomplishments for 2009 thus far have been making an honest woman out of my girlfriend as of 5/8/09 - thanks, Iowa hippies! - and earning my Masters degree. With any luck(?), I will soon be a teacher of apathetic teens who spend more time trying to figure out how to get by on a diet of SparkNotes and prayer than they do reading school-assigned literature. (It was either that, or become a pirate.)
In my spare time (wait, what?), I enjoy Star Wars, reading, Star Wars, writing, sushi, Star Wars, talking about Star Wars, thinking about Star Wars, and naming my/our many, many pets after Star Wars characters. I occasionally watch movies that are not Star Wars, but they are rarely as much fun.
I use MySpace to reconnect with family and friends of any and all reputes; having been on the service since 2005, and also having long since branched into other social networking sites, I am no longer ashamed that my first thought when something remotely interesting happens is to want to blog about it. Okay, maybe a little.
