About me:
I'm a bass player, songwriter, and producer. I live in Los Angeles, where I was raised. I do love this town, as strange as it can be. It's particularly enjoyable coming home after being on the road for a while to enjoy the sun, get a burrito, ride my bike, or see a Dodger game. My wife Corinne and I have a 3 1/2 year-old daughter, Zelly Boo, who is our complete pride and joy. My main hobby is creating music, and my profession is creating music, so you can guess where all my time goes. There's no question that I'm what you'd call a "people person" in the truest, non-cynical way. So, I actually prefer working amongst others, not in isolation. Hence my penchant for ensemble songwriting, producing records, and my love of the "band" dynamic.
My resume includes work with Beck (over a decade), Air, Tori Amos, Garbage, Macy Gray, Ima Robot (my own band), Courtney Love, Nelly Furtado, Mars Volta, Dixie Chicks, Marianne Faithful, Ladytron, They Might Be Giants, Goldfrapp, and a bunch more.
Currently, I am playing with Nine Inch Nails, starting a North American tour in July '08.
