Justin Rayfield is, in a word, honest. As a songwriter he's never forgotten the most important rule-write what you know. Songs about love, loss, addiction and aspirations are a window into the real life of a struggling musician in a sea of the same.
After moving from his home in northern Idaho, singer/songwriter Justin Rayfield settled in Eugene, Oregon to hone his skills. Beginning in a punk band,”Dime-Speed Theft”, at a young age, Rayfield learned to project his voice over the crash of the cymbals and the distortion of the guitars
The latest musical projects, “Made Of Skin” and “The Long Walk”, are the result of years of growing and collaboration with other talented musicians.
After years of living and playing in the Northwest, Rayfield moved to Austin, TX to start all over with a new story and an old hunger.
