Justin Silver is quick witted, sarcastic and cocky but charming enough to make you love him for it. Drawing humor from his troubled past and his neurotic sensibilities this Native New Yorker’s style is a combination of aggressive, in your face sarcasm and self-effacing vulnerability.
His conversational delivery makes you forget that you’re at a show rather than hangin’ out with a hilarious buddy. It’s no wonder why this young talent has quickly become a favorite amongst the up and coming comics on the New York stand up circuit.

June 3, 2007 -- CANINES and comedy: What’s the connection? People who act funny for a living are irresistibly drawn to dogs. And lately, New York’s most talented stand-up comics have been standing up for the city’s homeless canines.
“My dogs crack me up,” says comic Justin Silver, whose two adopted pit bulls, Pacino and Chiquita, appear on his MySpace page. “Sometimes I’ll come home and I’m like, Where are the dogs? Then I’ll find the two of them wrestling - on my bed, under the blankets.”
Inspired by his canines’ comedy routines, Silver recently teamed up with P.J. Landers, owner of the West Village club Comedy Village, to organize Funny for Fido. They recruited some of comedy’s top dogs - Sirius Satellite Radio’s Geno Bisconte, Greer Barnes of “Chappelle’s Show,” Joey Gay of “Last Comic Standing” - to help raise money for the adoptable pets of Smiling Pit Bull Rescue (spbr.org) and Paws All Around (paws allaround.org).
The show, held May 23, was such a smash that Silver plans to make Funny for Fido an annual event
