The Sons of the South have been amassed from all over Florida: Lakeland, Daytona Beach, Port Charlotte, and Jacksonville, respectively. They converged in centrally located Lakeland, and in November of 2006, Justin the Red was born.
The chemistry between the 5 was remarkable and soon had an original and intense mixture of southern rock and hardcore that was all their own . Their musical ferocity has taken them to venues all across central Florida and they've rocked audiences with their brutally honest lyrics and songs that demand attention.
Justin Cox rocks on lead shreds and Travis Shelly annihilates on rhythm guitar, Tyler McDonald slams his bass and his beard gives a sensory overload. Sean Berry puts the Irish banshees to shame as he screams and does the uninhibited dance of a wild man.
