Alright one and all prepare yourselves for the most enthralling and ambitious Poison event yet. On Saturday the 19th of September 2009 The Poison presents “Summerend 09”.For this event will be taking over one of London’s hottest new dance venues “AREA”. 1500 people will stomp the night away to a mind blowing L.E.D light and visuals show. Guaranteed that you have an out of the world experience at our Summerend spectacular …



“AREA is deemed as the coolest club in London as it opens its doors pre summer 2008. Boasting four spacious dance areas, state of the art sound and light technology, six bars and plenty of chill-out space. The Vauxhall venue holds up to 1500 people with over 750 LED's and 30 lasers to turn your clubbing experience into a world of cutting edge sophistication. With its 24 hour license and 'around the clock' dance arena's - your partying is a continuous dance!” ..



On the night we will be showcasing 25 Dj’s across three arenas playing Funky House, Electro House, Dirty House, Deep House, Tech House, Hard Dance, Hard Trance, Trance, Psy-Trance, Electro, Minimal Techno, Funky Techno and Electro Techno. Basically if you want it we got it, a little something for everyone you could say. We have 3 LIVE Acts from artist including DEEP INFECT and ARTHUR KEEN. Some of the other dj’s performing will be ANDRE DETOXX, FUNKY PAUL, JUSTIN TIME, DANY D’ANGELO, DIGITAL MIKE, HOOVAGROOVA, EXISITNCE, X-RAY, NITROMIND, BOBSKY ,SPECIAL GUEST FROM POLAND DJ KOSTI and many more to be announced in the coming weeks.

If that wasn’t enough we also have legendary drummer/producer JOHN TONKS. “Tonksy’s CV is wide ranging. Working as: Producer, Musical Director, Drummer and Programmer. Moving in a wide range of genres, with many and varied artists. Such as: Gabriella Cilmi, Paul Oakenfold, Neneh Cherry, Tricky, Lamb, Duran Duran, Lulu, Thea Gilmore, Fish, Stina Nordenstam, Lemonjelly, Steve Winwood, Sugababes, CirKus, Thunder etc etc. Although still working in the live arena, his focus is turning more & more to writing and production. Notably collaborating with DJ - Hernan Cattaneo. After a long wait for all The Poison and Republic Artists return with our biggest collaboration to date. On the 22nd of November we will be taking over one the most famous clubs in London “The Scala”. This event will be a double birthday bash, it’s the 3rd birthday for The Poison and it’s Republic Artists 1st Birthday. To honor the occasion we have dubbed the night “POISONED REPUBLIC”. We also welcome the return of E-Club TV who will be filming the night and broadcasting it later in the year.



Republic Artists have had a wild 12 months since their opening party just before Christmas last year. Not only have they revisited Factory for their summer party, they've made waves on the Thames with their rocking boat party in May, sold out club Hidden, ruined many Monday’s with their Sunday Shift parties in Camden, DJ'ed to mad Ceskys and tourists in Plzen and Prague on their European tour, and spread their Keep Clubland Alive message in the best place on Earth: IBIZA! Where they played for Cream @ Amnesia.

Their 3 years have been equally spectacular , being involved in last year’s closing parties in Ibiza, constantly filling clubs like Hidden, Mass, and the Colosseum in London, and recently playing the main room at Ministry of Sound with Italian techno legend Mauro Picotto.

And like most parties with a 3 and 1 year old, it will be messy! Expect mayhem, hyperactivity, and lots and lots of fun. No presents (though there may be some unwrapping), just your presence is all that's required.

On the night we will be show casing over thirty dj’s, made up of Poison residents and Republic resident plus some guest dj’s. Playing House, Electro, Minimal Techno, Tech House, Hard Dance, Trance and Progressive over 4 rooms.

Some of the dj’s on the night include W R 1(Poison), CHRIS SADLER , TOMASUCHY, JUSTIN TIME, FUNKY PAUL, ANDRE DETOX, STEFAN RO B2B DANI D, WAYNE C, X-RAY B2B DEVIL 666, SYGNITY, HOOVAGROOVA, Plus many more to be announced at a later date.



2000 people will stomp the night away to a mind blowing light and visuals show. Guaranteed that you have an out of the world experience in our Poisoned Republic… As well as a live drum show with our Residents W R 1 and a live guitar show with one of our hard dance thumpers X-RAY. For a little touch a class we are going to have some very sexy dancers to keep you moving on the dancefloor all night long.

Warning to all of you out there in club land Saturday the 19th July you will all be working the night shift at The Factory for the return of the Poison. Job description is to dance like you have never dance before and consume as much alcohol and maybe a few unmentionables as you can. Guaranteed to be the most enjoyable night of work ever.

So yes we are returning to Factory for our mid summer bash. To honor the event we have lined up all your favorite Poison residents, backed up by a few friends. Who will be bringing you a night to remember for a long time. As with all our events we showcase a wide variety of music, anything from house, electro, tech house, minimal techno, trance, hard dance and if the mood is right even hard house. A little something for everyone no matter your preference of music you will still find yourself stomping the night away.

On to the line up in the Progressive Room there will be the ever popular We R 1(Poison), Tomasuchy (Republic Artists/Poison) who is coming of the back a few international gigs recently and doing extremely well with his ever growing event Republic Artists. Crowd favorite Funky Paul(Poison) will as always pump up the dancefloor, taking you on a journey on the darker side of electro will be Stefan Ro(Black & White/Poison). Keep the groove of the night flowing we have Swift(poison), Digital Mike, Andre Detox(The Boat Party/Poison) and rounding it of Sound Freaks.

In the Trance/Hard Dance Room we have the hard dance veteran for the Poison Justin Time(Poison) who will have you bouncing around the floor his entire set. Along side we have Sygnity(FloorPlay/Poison) he always has awesome progressive trance to get the dancefloor rolling. The ever fierce X-Ray(Poison), newest resident Hoovagroova(Poison) who plays a psy infused hard trance that keeps the floor stomping. Keeping it on a psy edge R2(Poison) who always has something up his sleeve. The luscious Existence(Poison). Finally we have the competition winner who announced at a later stage.

All in all there are all the right ingredients for a insane party. We hope to see all of you down there for some more Poison madness.

Well I guess they say that it is better late than never and just like that another Poison party has come and gone and yet it still feels like it was just yesterday. This event was just as good as any Poison yet. Awesome tunes for the most part and as always a totally up for it crowd. If the next party is like the last then I can’t wait.



All the dj’s that I had a chance to hear were superb on the night good track selection and good progression for the most part. Hidden’s outside garden was put to great use last Saturday, I myself must have used it at least twenty times, calculated by the fact that I had a full deck of fags at the start and none in the morning;-p. We must say a big thank you to the republic artist’s crew for who brought a wild following back with them from their boat party before the Poison. They had the electro floor heaving for most the night. The two events seem to gel extremely well together. We hope to see a bright future for Poison and Republic Artist’s alike.



It was really good to see Nrg Exus back in the hard room again. I probably spent majority of the night in there. Tunes were to good to really pull myself away for a long period of time. Which can be said for all rooms I should say? With each room came a completely different atmosphere. Great variety throughout which is always a good thing. So yeah well done guys and girls job well done. Hope to see you all at the next. Details below
