Justin Williams was born and raised early on in his hometown of Kansas City, MO in 1980 and was raised around music all his life. He started playing guitar in the summer of 1996. Six months later, he was already writing his own songs and then in 1998, he began recording his own material, and became a member of the site acidplanet.com. He has been in some bands in the past which just weren't serious about succeeding enough. And he was also the original singer of the local metal band Alykai. And then after a lifetime it seems worth of trials and struggles in life, he teamed up with Alykai in Sturgeon, MO and began practicing. The band immediately clicked. Though some songs were still in their early phase of the writing process, his addition has endured to make Alykai one of the top artists in Northeast MO here on Myspace for their genre. Justin has been one of the top artists himself, and currently is the top artist in the Northeastern Vicinity, as well as one of Myspaces Top artists in the state. Despite being the number 1 artist in the NE region of Missouri, his music can be found just about anywhere. Acidplanet.com, Cnet.com, and of course Myspace. He even has an album of rough drafts on Lulu.com for sale in which he gets no royalties, but he gets to share his music with fans. Along with his dparture from Alykai due to creative differences, he is pursuing his music full force and will be submitting his music to Truman State University's very own alternative college radio station, he is collaborating with an awesome musician from Japan who is starting a web-initiated band called "Grin Outside" which delivers gut punching Nu-Metal. Among the entire slew of things that he has accomplished, Justin is also a very loving father to a prescious baby boy, and takes pride in being a family man as well. Check the pictures! He currently works at KTVO in Kirksville, MO as a master control operator and is firing up for his new jump start back in the old Ville! With an eclectic twist and a shining personality, this singer/songwriter is definitely on his toes for the long haul!
