Just Jo (Jo-Anne Carlson) is obsessed with music. She grew up in Kingston, Jamaica, surrounded by everything from reggae to Beethoven. Training in classical voice and piano simply fueled her music mania. She sang in choirs throughout her teenage years, and then discovered rock and roll – nuff said!! Discovering the acoustic guitar in 2002, she learned how to play it, and began writing songs. Jo-Anne has written over 20 songs, with many more lurking in the murky pathways of her brain.
Currently, she does a solo acoustic act.

Luckily we haven't had the floods they have had up north. Had a manic day at work today. Rushed off my feet. Crazy day. Need the weekend to rest up. Got a lot to do actually. The song features the amazing saxophone of Jay Davidson (who plays with Whitney Houston, Cinderella, Tower of Power, and many others), and the amazing vocals of Charlene Holloway (Chaka Khan and many others), and Sonya Klinger (an up-and-coming wunderkind who hits and holds the amazingly moving high note at the end!).
In a blatant attempt at agitprop mass manipulation, the music video features incredibly cute photographs of cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies, as well as evocative photographs supporting the long-time historical existence of gay marriage from Creative Commons. Hello, My day was long and boring. It seemed to drag on and on and on. Did have pizza for lunch so that was a nice treat as I love pizza. Raining here again today - got wet coming home from work. Why does it always rain harder just when you are leaving work? At least it is the weekend now! Sara
I hope you are well and have had a good day. I returned to work today after my 2 days leave. I forgot I had been off within about 5 mins as it was so busy and so hectic. The day did fly by which was nice I guess. After work it was pilates. I love doing that even though I don't think I am that good. Have only done 6 lessons after all so still new really. I want to be better thats all. Been watching telly this evening - catching up on shows. Raining pouring here at the moment and has been since tea time.
