THE ACCIDENT OF BECOMING LENNON: For many years Richard has been teased about looking like Lennon. One day he was offered an advert for look-a-likes which read "Look-a-likes wanted as soon as possible". Richard thought that he should apply, only to prove to family and friends that he did not look like Lennon. To his surprise he was contacted at once, with a request for professional photos that later lead to TV appearances and even films!

He was asked often to make surprise appearances, meet and greet & make awards in the style of Lennon. He even helped kick start the Queens jubilee as Lennon :-) He was often quoted saying "I'ts like i've had a dream only someone forgot to wake me up".
Richard is the only Lennon lookalike who has actually played the legends personal guitar. The Vox Phantom prototype organ guitar was given to Lennon at a Beatles show in 1964, valued at £140,000 at a London auction John Lennon used the guitar during the filming of the “Hello Goodbye” video, and, later, George Harrison used the same guitar during the filming of “I Am the Walrus” in an outtake for the Magical Mystery Tour film.
Richard has appeared in BBC Horizons It happened here the story of Lennons life, and the controversial film "The Killing of John Lennon" the story of John's sad unfortunate fate, which gives a deep incite into why it happened. Richard can do many of Johns looks.
These days Richard is working on his own musical carer as well, and since has been offered air play on radio.
