We like to meet new people, help them learn about good food and nutrition, and introduce them to other folks too. We're interested in workplace democracy - our store is run by a collective of workers who also share ownership of the cooperative. We stand alongside many of our suppliers at the farmer's market.

We also have some very berry stuff happening on our website www.thefoodies.org You can find a chilly berry tart recipe at http://www.thefoodies.org/resources.asp?categoryID=22&resourceID=76 And if you have kids who like strawberries they can do an activity to work out how they grow at http://www.thefoodies.org/resources.asp?categoryID=3&resourceID=3 Best wishes for a sunny strawberry June!
hey there...we just wanted to let you know that we'll be playing a show at Acoustic Cafe in Eau Claire on Thu Apr 9. we'd love it if you could stop by and spend an evening with us...
If you know anyone with little ones in the house, or who works with children, please let them know that we have turned our January Book "Parsnip Meets A Snowman" into a short voiced-over film. It's on our myspace page and on youtube.
The book of the month is always available to read free on our own website www. thefoodiesbooks. com but we thought this would be a nice way to reach children who are not yet starting to read.
So if anyone wants to help their child make the connection between weather / seasons and the food they eat, this is a little fun starting point.
