Throughout the history of Anaheim, CA's very own Just Us, the band has began to build a solid following of goodtime seekers and music lovers. Seen as a relief from the overwhelming generic sounds of too many Orange County and Los Angeles area bands, Just Us has quickly brought a fresh, new, and welcomed style to the local music scene. Just Us has gained the reputation of a band who does not take itself too seriously and is always ready to entertain all kinds of diverse crowds.
Ranging from Reggae, Punk, Ska, Dancehall, Rap, Blues and Rock, Just Us plays their music for the diversity they live and love each and everyday in their home of Anaheim, CA. The band follows in well-versed traditions of eclectic bands such as Bad Brains, No Doubt, Operation Ivy, Sublime, Madness, Goldfinger and all others who have relied on constant musical reinvention.
With very little regard to guidelines and genres, the band consistently creates uniquely blended songs which speak to the real world.
The live Just Us experience has also spread through a great word-of-mouth reputation in LA, Orange, and Riverside Counties, as well as gaining many fans through their "for the fans" approach of the world wide web. Listed on highly-rated, high-traffic websites such as purevolume, myspace, and a plethora of others, Just Us consistently gains new friends and fans through their live shows' reputation and their positive attitude to every single prospective new friend/fan. Just Us has played shows with several nationally touring acts such as Stoic Frame, Undermind, Riot a-go-go, B-Foundation, Red Rooster, the Slaves and No Way Jose to name a few.
The bands' recordings are released on their very own Mas o Menos R E C O R D S, which also features The Scribes, No Class, and The Red Professor as their signed acts. Now dubbed "The Band of The People" a Just Us show is definately one to experience.
