"The band's debut full-length is a pretty powerful, refreshing take on Revolution Summer emo, updated for the modern era with more restraint and thought in delivery, complemented by more chorus dynamics and semi-noodly riffs." - punknews.org
In order to combat the Three Plagues that are named Nihilism, Mediocrity, and Monotony in the wasteland of Suburbia, Juvenescent Beat! recognizes and adheres to the following tenants, which shall be hereafter known as the Manifesto of the Dionysian Revival:
I) To free youth culture from the shackles of image and monotony. In an indifferent society that demands homogeny and conformity, we strive to be a beacon of liberation from the prison of self-consciousness, a bright oasis in the wretched desert of routine.
II) To strike down each and every preconceived ideal that tenaciously cling like gnawing worms to our hearts and minds. The musty idols of religion, culture, even music - all must be dismembered and deconstructed.
III) To create an “Anti-Populist” culture, as demonstrated by the lack of a regimented dress code and Individualist Ethics. We do not seek to identify with the “common man” or his precious “working class”. What does the common man, whose very identity is dependent upon conformity, have to do with our radical and iconoclastic agenda?
IV) To personalize our revolution and return it to its primacy by means of catharsis, the most immediate form of liberation at the disposal of the individual. Complete and utter upheaval in society cannot attain completion without first occurring in the individual.
V) To maintain a sense of danger, excitement, and urgency within our aural revolution. Suburbia and the Bourgeois parent culture has imposed sterility, and impotence upon the canvas of modern existence and expects the Youth to abide by these values. If we are to reclaim ourselves and our collective, cultural identity, new paths must be forged and old ones re-envisioned.

We're probably going to start setting the shows up to be the last friday of every month or something to that effect. I'm going to talk to Dangerous Ponies and a few other bands. If you know of any other bands you want up here have them email me on here or whatever you need to do. I would def. like to see 1994 play up here and Algernon at some point.

For sure, for sure. I worked at roburritos for a year-and-a-half and I still tout it as the best burrito I've had. Keep fighting the good fight--people need reminded of music they forgot about before it ever happened.
