The JVF CLIQUE are the kind of artists that get in your bones and stick to your ribs, heavy. This band of opportunists materialized in to the consciousness of midlands scallywags with there late night mic sessions on Mix FM in the early 90s. A tour of duty swiftly ensued at Real FM in Birmingham bringing light into the far reaches of the black country. The Clique got shit in shops in 2004 with the "The Embryo" EP which hit the spot, going down a treat in independent record outlets, boutiques, sex shops and young offenders institutes, they swiftly followed this with their next move "The First Born EP" arriving later on in the year.
The JVF have also dabbled in Drum and Bass releasing the mixtape "Underground Heist" in 2005. 2006 saw the release of "The Submeged Language Mixtape", a fine affair featuring tunes from the JVF along with releases from Jid Sames, Cappo, Apocraphe and Scorzayzee. The JVF's web site www.jvfradio.com is also a continual project hosting exclusive new tunes, "Our Views" and videos. The Clique are currently putting the final touches to there debut album "Alternative Income", aiming to detonate 2009.
