I WAS THERE IN NYC WHEN IT HAPPENED! STUCK IN THE CITY OVERNIGHT CRYING WITH A RELATIVE. LISTENNING TO WHAT SOUNDED LIKE A WAR ZONE IN MY CITY. THE SUNDAY BEFORE MY HUSBAND AND I WERE IN THE TOWERS. HE WAS SHOWING ME ANOTHER ROUTE I COULD TAKE TO WORK WHILE WE WERE ON VACATION. I INTENDED TO TRY IT ON MY RETURN TO WORK THAT TUESDAY, LUCKY FOR ME I CHOSE ANOTHER WAY. I TOLD HIM I WANTED TO GO UP TO THE OBSERVATION AREA TO SEE OUR NEW NEIGHBORHOOD IN NJ WHERE WE MOVED. HE HAD SAID WE CAN COME BACK ANOTHER TIME, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE HERE. LITTLE DID WE KNOW THAT FOLLOWING TUESDAY WOULD CHANGE EVERYTHING. MANY WE KNEW WERE LOST OR INJURED HERE THAT DAY. BUT WE WERE ALL CHANGED AND DEEPLY SCARRED.NEVER FORGET!
