Founded in Spring of 2006 by noted musician/engineer/producer Scott Olson (Deftones, Alice in Chains, Limp Bizkit, Dredg, Buckcherry, Powerman 5000 etc…) and Temperedcast Manager Scott Morhouse, Jibe Records is a regional label designed to provide content, artist development/management and marketing services to artists here in the Northwest.

listen to music for many reasons. To be entertained or reflect on a period of their lives, to lift a mood or dig into the depths of their sadness -- that's when people really get the most out of music. If you can create the soundtrack to those essential elements of people's lives, you've truly created art. The "True Artist" strives to write a song with the elements embodying that scenario, to reach the pinnacle of creating music that people identify with. Only a small percentage of bands actually achieve this level consistently. It's done by focusing on an emotion and shaping it into a form people can identify with. The key is "feel" and it carries through all elements of their song. Jibe Records was created to be a portal for "True Artists".
