I play the saxophone, along with a selection of whistles, tubes, and string instruments, in a variety of musical situations involving free and/or structured improvisation. I'm a very inventive musician and see invention as a mode of interrogation and investigation of my immediate social environment and as a way to maintain the integrity of my intellect and psychology against advertising, official rhetoric, and self-help gurus. In addition to playing the saxophone, I work in an extended field of "performance writing" that combines music + writing (including poetry by other writers as well as a variety of critical texts) using strategies of improvisation.

Hey Jonathon, thanks for adding your name. I listened to one of your pieces on random play, the one where you're doing rapidfire spoken word and playing alternation. A feat of physical and intellectual endurance (big lungs and big brain).
OKay okay i'm still listening. actually the other ones are EVEN BETTER than yale town.....I'm really gitty sitting here all alone. Umm...we need to have another gig on an intune piano its really beautiful sounding. haha, again, rad = you.
hahahahaha yale town is the best song ever.....ummmm......nice work. the piano is too hot in the mix, I need to hear more of that sweet cello and about the oversized east vanners. Not me I hope.....ummm....you're awesome.
