JWP.org was founded in 2003 by Wojtek and Jacek Fedkowicz and the pianist, Dominik Wania.
After several concerts at Cracow clubs prof. Jan Pilch has joined the group enriching the sound through adding several percussion elements. The last person to have joined the group was Tomek Pruchnicki from Wroclaw. To begin with, the group performed mainly the compositions of artists such as Chick Corea, McCoy Tyner, Zbigniew Namyslowski, or Wlodzimierz Pawlik.
With the repertoire the group got a special prize at the Internationa Jazz Festival "Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa" in January, 2004. As a result of that, they won a recording session at Radio Katowice. The repertoire from the first JWP.org CD was released and enclosed to JAZZ FORUM magazine.
In December, 2004, they got the first position at JAZZ JUNIORS Festival in Cracow. In April, 2006 at Jazz Festival "Jazz nad Odra" Wojtek got an individual prize for one of his compositions.
JWP.org have taken part in the following festivals:
- 2nd and 3rd Festival of Percussion Music in Cracow;
- Jazz Forum Festival " Those We Count On" in 2004;
- the International Contest for Jazz Pianists in Kalisz;
- the Summer Jazz Festival at "Piwnica pod Baranami;"
- 45th Film Festiwal in Cracow;
The musicians forming JWP.org have also performed with the following: Jacek Kochan, Zbigniew Namyslowski, Grzegorz Turnau, Janusz "Yanina" Iwanski, Antoni "Ziut" Gralak, Eryk Kulm, Krzysztof Kiljanski, Dorota Miskiewicz, Tatiana Okupnik.
Their music is a mixture of jazz with drum&bass, hip-hop and etno elements; the group occassionally performs with a DJ or VJ. They do not confine themselves closing their compositions in one particulat style; the only criterion they take into account is the musicians' preferences and creativity.

Yo JWP.orgasaurus. I just found out that we're related...and as a special family only present we've made a new song for you called "End of Days" (start doing backflips now). It's an epic instrumental opus to the moment when our ancient Dino relatives saw a large fiery object plummeting towards them. Please come to our page, give it a listen and let us know if it makes you feel like something catastrophic is gonna happen. If the song upsets you too much we will be holding several s support groups (read: comcerts) in the near future. Check our page for locations, dates and times.
