My interests (other than the aforementioned Acting) live in the comic book genre. I am very selective about what I read and usually relegate it to the aforementioned pop culture Icons, as well as a few other select titles. I also love DOCTOR WHO, STAR WARS, STAR TREK and most other things with the word STAR in the title. All except Starship Troopers. What the hell were they thinking? Heinlein must be spinning in his grave.
In my free time I also draw. I mainly like doing comic characters and my secondary vocation aside from being an actor would be a penciller on my own comic. Hell, I'd love to be a penciller on someone ELSE'S comic if someone would offer me a paying job! But, if you are either interested in my work, or want to offer me a penciling job please feel free to look in my "PICS" category to see some very basic samples (and I mean basic, I haven't realkly drawn something for months at the time of this update[12/10/07])
I am also a fan of Shakespeare and Classical Greek And Roman Theatre. Great stuff. It truly is a test of any actors mettle. Any hack actor can do Neil Simon, the true test is making Richard III lovable. I defy anyone to do that. Come on. Try me.
Music
So what am I supposed to write a song here? Oh. What kind do I like? Geez, how about some specificity, huh? I'm a fan of Soundtracks, Electronica, Hindi-Pop, and Japanese Drum music...Y'know, normal stuff. I like other kinds of music, but I make few exceptions. And as for country...you call that music?

Movies
Why ask me this? Agh! My Head'll explode! I like a lot but I cannot claim allegiance to a select few! Okay, I love Most well made Sci-Fi/Fantasy (Star Trek, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings), but I do have a list of ever shifting top movies I like:
1. The Fountain
2. The Dark Knight
3. Hot Fuzz
4. Knocked Up
5. 300
6. Gattaca
7. Brazil
8. Lock Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels
9. Iron Man
10. The Karate Kid, Part II
Television
I love comedy, but I also like a good drama. Well that just eliminates those dumb ass reality shows. And for everyone who loves those things religiously, SHAME ON YOU. Do something with your life. My top shows include:
Battlestar Galactica, SPACED, Scrubs, Doctor Who,Robot Chicken, Sealab 2021, FUTURAMA, FAMILY GUY, Star Trek Re-runs, Law & Order: SVU, The Soup, Best Week Ever, and lastly BBC World News
Books
As I said before, I read lots of comic books. And I mean lots. For example, I used to subscribe to 85 separate titles at the comic shop. I have a library of over 600 Graphic Novels. 10 Long boxes & 9 short boxes full of back issues sit in my office. Somewhat interested, I'd say. As for the written word, I mainly read a lot of Fiction. If I'm not reading a Sci-Fi Book (recently my record's been been 18 Star Trek Novels in 3 months, I'm onto Hellboy now, with the terrible possibility of delving bck into Star Trek. Bu I need to give Simon & Schuster a chance to get a running start first) I'll be reading something By humorous political Novelist Christopher Buckley who ins no doubt writing something about this sham of a government(read DICTATORSHIP) we have. Or if nothing else I'm reading ToyFare Magazine. You read one issue and try to tell me it's not funny. On top of all that I read a good deal of theatrical plays, though that's mainly work oriented.
Heroes
Okay this one will be short and sweet because this is much better off in a list format--
REAL HEROES: Seth Rogen. He is by far, my number one hero. A popular actor that headlines films and is not the modern model picture of a pretty boy. Just. Like. Me. Suck it, Hollywood.
Others: Heath Ledger's Ghost, Barack Obama, Jon Stewart, Kevin Spacey, Aristophanes, Brandon Routh, Patrick Stewart, Eddie Izzard, Chad Geernaert, Michael Vandierdonck, Stephen Rupsch, and Brian Michael Bendis.
Hi all!
My name is Jay, and I'm a 24 year old actor originally from California and now entrenched in Eugene, OR. I enjoy my life (To an extent). It is fun, and enjoyable. But more to the point, I am an actor. A tougher life one did never live, unless you're homeless, a refugee, or some other person who makes less money than actors do (and I don't mean Tom Cruise or David Arquette: I mean REAL actors). I love acting though, it makes me happy, and thus my life is Enjoyable (again...to an extent). Personally, I am an easygoing character. I'm not anal retentive, or god-forbid anal expulsive. That's just gross. But I can say that I usually make friends easily, and by some oddity that is the internet, hopefully more than just a handful of people will read this paragraph. And with any luck my parents never will, so I can faithfully say that I stand by everything I have said so far.
Who I'd like to meet: John C. McGinley. He is really an interesting character and a fantastic actor. I admire the way he portrays his characters and I'm a big fan of his style, so I'd love to get some insight.
And being the avid TREK fan that I am, I'd also love to meet Patrick Stewart...
I'd also love to meet David Tennant, the man is a master at accents and so far he's the best Doctor ever.
They're both very much theatre men, and I'd love to discuss the tenets of Shakespeare with them. And that's another guy who I'd love to meet: Shakespeare... Crazy Mother Frakker.
I also (after seeing TDK) want to meet Heath Ledger. His was single-handedly one of the best performances I've ever seen on film or in theatre. Absolutely Amazing. Mad props to you in the afterlife, Heath.

Greetings and salutations,
My best friend Mark Williams (a.k.a. ) Admiral Kirk needs your vote to win a Star Trek: TOS Captain's Chair in the final round of the Roddenberry. com's 2008 Member of the Year contest. Mark and I "Gary (a.k.a.) Mr. Spock" are best known for our "Kirk And Spock" shows that we put on at conventions. The 2008 STARBASE INDY convention on Thanksgiving weekend featured us as part of their main entertainment. We had performed "Spock's Brain". I hope that we can get the video of our performance on YouTube in the near future.
Another great reason to vote for Mark is that I only live a few miles from his house! After all, I have been and always shall be his friend.
I am... so... very busy this week. Can't honestly think straight enough right now to tell you what my schedule is. Something tells me Friday afternoon is our best bet... :-)
I am commenting on your wall. Is this because I care? Or could it be something to do with the gun you have pointed at my head? Please... remove the gun... it frightens me... How are you? "I'm bored, mostly" says you. FINE. BE BORED. PSH.
Thank you for your response... Somehow it was exactly what I needed. You're so damn good at that! Can I ever express what your friendship has done for me? Thank you. Phone is, indeed, AWOL. Apparently my charger is in the mail... no sign of it yet. Hmph. My days are packed, but I'll go over schedules and see what we can work out!
