Sarah Howells- vocals and rhythm guitar;
Nia George, vocals and bass guitar;
Tim Ramsey ,drummer extraordinaire.

Were you one of the lucky people who caught one of their live sets?
If you are an ex-Uni student then you may well have seen the band in 2002 when they played the UK university circuit thanks to support from STUDENT 123.
Voted best unsigned band, things were going so well for them when tragedy struck. Nia, the bass guitarist and one of the vocalists was suddenly struck down with with a life threatening illness whilst recording their first single and after a brave battle, she passed away in February 2004 aged 21.
Nia was my wonderful daughter, a founder member of the band, artist, song writer and performer. She is sadly missed by all and her death saw the sad demise of Jylt.

Thanks for adding me. I used to play around the pembrokeshire gig circuit and remember seeing Jylt a few times. I thought the chemistry at their live performances was uplifting and refreshing.

hey guys! thanks for the comment! means alot! i'm not sure about the guys, but i really loved jylt, i seen em play once, up the rhondda, i was only about 15-16, they really did inspire me like! i loved surrender! i was hooked on that song! lol! well good to have you as a friend! means alot! jojo x
Hi Big fan of halflight so naturally had to come and check out jylt. Great songs, shame I never got to see the band live. Very sorry to read of the tragic ending, keeping these songs on line is a fine tribute. Best wishes David
