I'm interested in most things, at least for a little while. But if it's boring or if I'm no good at it, then I'll lose that interest quickly. I love to travel, though I don't have the time or the funds to do it as much as I'd like. I take delight in things that makes me squeal - I've been skydiving, rafting, snorkeling... and I used to think I wanted to SCUBA, but since I've developed a weird phobia of sea monsters in recent years, I'm no longer so sure about that. When it comes down to the day-to-day, I can have fun doing just about anything.
Music
ALL OF IT!!! Love live shows most of all, whether it's a big festival or a rock legend or some local talent in a smokey bar.
SuperBowl XLI - Purple Rain, in the Rain:
Movies
Ones that make me laugh, ones that make me cry and ones that make me jump in surprise. I've been a Star Wars fan since birth; also Lord of the Rings; Legend; Bram Stoker's Dracula; Underworld and other good vampire movies; Kevin Smith's many comedic masterpieces, particularly Mallrats and Dogma; The Princess Bride; Pirates; Sex and the City, though the series tops the flick; Lucky Number Slevin and other such criminal tales that tickle the brain; knights and castles; historical dramas; fantasy and fairy tales... anything with imagination. And the new X-Files impressed the shit outta me.
Television
Not much - I don't really have TV right now. I just wait for it to come out on DVD instead...
And this is my latest obsession... for "it all has happened before and will happen again."
Books
Tom Robbins; Stephen King; John Berendt's Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil; fantasy and more fantasy; local and regional history and ghost stories; and this great fantasy series by a local author: www.ChroniclesOfTheNecromancer.com.
I also read LOTS of news (it's my job) and blogs (cause other folks' thoughts are nutritious)... to name a few of my latest faves:
My heroes are the people who stand up for what they feel is right and who are not afraid, those folks who make a difference... and I admire my Mom most of all, for her courage and unflagging optimism, even in the most trying of times.

Well, I have been called crazy... actually, more than a few times... and usually by the people who know me best! I love to laugh, and do it often. And loudly. I am a work-in-progress, and hope to always be. I try to find a smile in every day... and if I can pick up a nugget of wisdom as well, even better. I think rules are made for stretching, just like our perspectives. Patience is not a virtue that I possess. And come to think of it, neither is silence, so to hell with virtues. I am smart, straightforward and open-minded, and I try to surround myself with genuine people who have a 'live and let live' attitude, like me. After all, "if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." --Marilyn Monroe.

Hey! Are you coming to Denver this weekend? I have to work till 10 tonight and tomorrow night, but if you are around you should call! Also, I think we are going to go skiing over spring break. Do you have a ski coat I could borrow? All of my coats are cloth (like cordaroy) and I think skiing in them would mess them up. Well, I'll talk to you later!
