John Z is a keyboard player/producer, songwriter/composer based in Brooklyn NY. He's been in the NYC area since 1998 and plays with several LI and NYC bands. He's toured the east coast and midwest with Phil Accardis Chalice and has backed up or played in opening acts for many name acts including The Coasters, Debra Gibson, Tavarez, Le Chic, and many more.
His debut solo album "Historical Society" is currently available on itunes and Amazon. Its a blend of ambient and progressive electronic instrumental music
JZ runs Earthtone Music Productions (www.earthtonemusic.net) where he works with many other artists of all genres. He engineered and produced "Next In Line" for George Banton which hit 1 on the gospel charts in Jamaica.
The original songs that JZ writes and records features vocalists Mark Grant and Barbie Mignot as well as some of the best musicians on Long Island. The instrumental music is all played and produced by JZ. I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
